Professional Bio
Naomi Taranto is a Project Coordinator, within the Prevention of Violence Against Women team at the Multicultural Centre for Women's Health. She is currently working on the Connecting Communities project, which is a partnership between MCWH and Safe and Equal that supports the delivery of the Victorian Government Supporting Multicultural and Faith Communities to Prevent Family Violence Grant. In this project Naomi connects practitioners to strengthen their capacity and share their expertise, while supporting them to build resilience and draw on the best-practice evidence base. She has a background in international development, a passion for gender equality projects and enjoys working in grassroot community development to imbed feminist intersectionality into practice and advocate with and for marginalised communities.
