Professional Bio
Katrina has over 15 years of experience in running, monitoring, and evaluating community development projects and programs for not for profits. Prior to moving to Australia, she was the Coordinator of Training and Educational content, managing a pool of 30 to 50 volunteers per and running local programs with up to 250 participants. Katrina is interested in social policy and scaling up effective initiatives that ensure no one is excluded and access is universal. She also has experience in local government and corporate sectors. Katrina uses her lived experience as a former international student that decided to continue living in Australia to become effective in her role as WHG’s Migrant and Refugee Health Equality Advisor. Katrina holds a Master of Development Studies (Gender and Development) - University of Melbourne and aBA in European Studies (International Relations) – Ateneo de Manila University.
