Jackie Turner (she/her) is the Director the Trans Justice Project, a new national organisation dedicated to building a powerful trans-led movement fighting for freedom, justice, and equality for all trans and gender diverse people. Based in Sydney she has more than 10 years experience as an organiser and campaigner. Jackie is passionate about community power, developing the leadership of LGBTQIA+ people, and building movements that can win. Her work on messaging and framing, combatting anti-trans disinformation, and movement building, has been instrumental in pushing back against the attacks of the anti-trans lobby in Australia.
