Professional Bio
Diana is passionate about the relationship between research and systemic advocacy in the disability sector. Diana is the Director of Policy and Programs at the peak body for women with disabilities in Victoria (WDV). They are also an Honorary Research Fellow at Deakin University and a Sociology PhD candidate in the School of Humanities and Social Sciences at La Trobe University, Australia. Their research interests include relationality, technologies of care and user experience design. In their PhD by publication, Diana is leading several projects which aim to both bridge disciplinary silos and demonstrate that lived experience is a generative and valuable source of knowledge.
